We climbed all the way back up the cliffs to arrive at the Solitary Restaurant just before they stopped serving lunch at three. A cold beer never tasted so good! The food at this place rivaled its view: L enjoyed "roast pumpkin & saffron gnocchi with cavelo nero, pine nuts, goats curd & vincotto." I devoured "seared eye fillet, mushroom duxelle, and gorgonzola bread pudding." V settled for a fancy sandwich. It would have tasted great even if it hadn't been so well earned. We caught the last trolley of the day and took a circuit of the places we would not have time to walk about, then did a little shopping in Leura, had a drink on our porch while enjoying the Milky Way again, and slept soundly.
